The ability to share ideas, goals and experiences is essential for the Soil Education and Public Safety Section of the Spanish Society of Soil Science. We welcome initiatives to raise soil awareness and education in all levels of the society (i.e. schools, universities, industries, policy makers, etc.).
The International Union of Soil Sciences (IUSS) is the global union of soil scientists. The IUSS launched the educational project “THE IUSS GOES TO THE SCHOOL”, which focuses on the idea of putting forward the soil and encouraging children’s interest in it. We collaborate preparing materials for young people.
The Spanish Soil Science Society (SECS) is a member of the Latin American Soil Science Society (SLCS) and participates with its members in the dissemination of Soil Sciences.
